Daihatsu, Toyota Announce Dual-model Debut for Indonesia

DAIHATSU MOTOR CO., LTD. (Daihatsu) and TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that they plan to launch in Indonesia in January a jointly developed small car aimed at creating a new segment in the Indonesia market. Development of the Daihatsu XENIA and the Toyota AVANZA, as the new small car will be labeled under each brand, centered on maximizing the strengths of both Daihatsu and TMC, resulting in a high-performance and high-quality innovative compact vehicle at an affordable price.
