TMC Starts Taking Orders for Soon-to-be-launched 'Prius PHV' Plug-in Hybrid in Japan
Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) began taking orders today through Toyota dealers around the country for the "Prius PHV" (plug-in hybrid), a gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle that can be charged using a household electric outlet. TMC will launch the vehicle in Japan on January 30, 2012.
