Toyota India to Expand Annual Production Capacity

Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces that its production and sales subsidiary in India, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private, Ltd. (TKM), plans to increase the combined annual production capacity of its two plants from 150,000 to 210,000 units in the first half of 2012. Forecasted total investment for the capacity increase is approximately 4.9 billion yen.
