Toyota Announces Financial Results for Fiscal Year
Ended March 31, 1996

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today its financial results for fiscal 1996, ended March 31, 1996. Consolidated net sales for the period were down 1.0% to ¥10.7 trillion, while net income rose 46.1% to ¥256.9 billion. Net income per share was at ¥68.69, up from ¥35.37 in the previous fiscal year.
