TMC Holds Company Entrance Ceremony

Toyota City, Japan, April 2, 2012―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) held its annual company entrance ceremony here today at TMC's head office building to welcome new employees.

TMC participants―totaling approximately 300 people―included 22 executives, including Chairman Fujio Cho and President Akio Toyoda, a total of 15 representatives from the Toyota Motor Workers' Union and various management groups, as well as officials and representatives from each division.

The 1,211 new employees present (compared to 1,335 at last year's ceremony) comprised 91 in administration, 439 in engineering, 108 in clerical fields, 526 in production and 47 in health-services.
