Toyota Sponsors 2nd MTV Asia Awards
Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) is proud to be one of the main sponsors of the 2nd MTV Asia Awards (MAA), which are to be presented today in Singapore.
Broadcasted to over 170 million homes, the MAA represents one of the highest forms of recognition for Asia's leading musical talents. Since becoming a sponsor, TMC has actively participated in all the activities related to this event, sharing the joy of the youth audience in the region.
At today’s ceremony, in the Singapore Indoor Stadium, MTV will name a lucky voter chosen by lottery who will be presented with a new Toyota vehicle provided by TMC.
The MAA is another great opportunity for TMC to reconfirm its commitment toward Asia and contribute to its societies and musical culture, in pursuit of its desire to be a model corporate citizen for the 21st century. In addition to the MAA, which TMC is sponsoring with Panasonic―title sponsor of the Formula One Panasonic Toyota Racing Team, TMC also sponsors the Toyota Classics, delivering genuine classical music performances across Asia.
