Overall Domestic Sales Increase in August

 

Tokyo ― TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) today announced the production, domestic sales and export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd. for August 2004.

  • Fifth consecutive month of increase due to increased exports mainly to the Middle East and Latin America

  • Thirty-first consecutive month of increase due to increased exports mainly to North America and Latin America

  • Seventh consecutive month of increase

OVERSEAS PRODUCTION

  • Thirty-second consecutive month of increase due to increased production mainly in North America and Europe. It also marked a record high for the month of August.
