TMC Announces Results for June 2011 and January - June 2011

Toyota City, Japan, July 25, 2011―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for June 2011 and for January to June 2011.

Post-Great East Japan Earthquake Production (Previously Announced)
Although the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11 had severely hampered production, Toyota forecasts its domestic and overseas production levels, already at 90% in June, to return to near pre-earthquake planned levels in July and return to full production able to flexibly meet consumer needs in November or December.  In Japan, Toyota also plans to produce an additional 350,000 vehicles from October through March 2012 to make up for production lost to the disaster and its aftereffects.
