Toyota Announces Results for December 2007 and CY2007

 

Tokyo ― TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today the production, sales in Japan and export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for December 2007 and calendar year 2007. TMC has also issued a figure for its CY2007 global sales results.

  • Third consecutive month of increase
  • The number of standard trucks sold was 2,100 (a 13.6% increase from December 2006); second consecutive month of increase
  • 31.1% share of the truck market (a 7.8% increase from December 2006)
    (for trucks with maximum loading capacity of more than four tons; excluding imported trucks)
