TMC Announces Results for December 2009 and CY2009

 

Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announces its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for December 2009 and the 2009 calendar year (CY2009).

  • Number of standard trucks sold was approximately 1,100 (34.7% decrease); first decrease in two months
  • 38.4% share of the truck* market (8.0% increase)

  • Fifth consecutive month of increase
  • 43.1% share of market including minivehicles (4.0% increase); record high for month of December
