TMC Announces Results for September 2014
and the First-half Period from April to September 2014

 

Toyota City, Japan, October 27, 2014―Toyota Motor Corporation announces its production, domestic sales, and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for September 2014 and for April to September 2014.

Daihatsu
  • Decreased
  • Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 61,300 units (0.4 percent decrease)
  • 30.1 percent share of minivehicle market (0.9 percentage point decrease)
Hino
  • Fifth consecutive month of increase
  • Standard truck sales totaled approximately 4,500 units (43.9 percent increase); fifth consecutive month of increase
  • 38.9 percent share of the truck* market (4.2 percentage point increase)

  • Decreased
  • 39.6 percent share of market including minivehicles (0.9 percentage point decrease)
