Major Features of LITEACE and TOWN ACE Trucks
- More Complete Lineup
- New "Super-Single Just-Low" Models"Super-Single Just-Low" models are equipped with small-radius single rear radial tires with 50% profile. In comparison with the previous double-tire "Just-Low" models, they have improved fuel economy, running stability and ride comfort. Single tires are also easier to maintain, such as when air pressure adjustments are necessary.
- New 4WD ModelsSeven 4WD models have joined the lineup. A new "2WD-4WD Selector" mechanism allows the driver to change from 2-wheel to 4-wheel drive and vice versa by merely touching the selector switch.
- New Automatic Transmission ModelsTo meet the trend toward easier driving, automatic transmissions are now available on some of the 2WD models. The types of automatic transmissions are as follows: 4-speed column-shift automatic with overdrive (2.0-liter diesel) and 3-speed column-shift automatic (1.5-liter gasoline).
- New Types of DecksTwo new types of decks are now offered: An all fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) deck and a steel deck with a gull-wing top. The FRP deck is rustproof, making it ideally suited for customers in the agriculture or fishing industry. The gull-wing top, thanks to its unique structure, opens upward on both sides and in the rear. It is recommended for mobile retailers.
- Top-of-the-Line Super X Model Newly AvailableThe top-of-the-line Super X has newly been added to some of the open-bed rear-loading models, including the 4WDs. The Super Xs are equipped as standard with low-profile single headlamps, freewheeling hubs (4WDs only), power steering and a sliding back window.
