Toyota "Personal Selection" System
Offers Wide Choice of Color Options
Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today the introduction of "Toyota Personal Selection," a new system offering consumers a wide range of color choices and combinations for the Toyota RAV4 L and RAV4 J models. The system has been introduced in response to the growing demand by consumers for more original color selections to reflect more precisely the increased individuality in lifestyles.
The system, in place from January 31, will provide customers with a range of newly introduced colors to select from the body and interior of these two RAV4 vehicles.
- Body colors
- Two to six colors for each of four paint patterns (18 variations in all)
- Interior colors
- Three to seven colors for seats, floor carpet, headrests, and so forth
Toyota Personal Selection will enable customers to create a wide range of color combinations for their car. To assist customers in color choice, TMC has opened the "Toyota Personal Selection Studio" at AMLUX Tokyo, Toyota's innovative showroom and salon. The design staff at the newly created studio will offer color-coordination services to customers to find colors that best suit their personal taste. The service will be available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Reservations will be necessary.
Sample vehicles with representative color combinations will be on display at the studio, and computers with color monitors will also be available to allow visitors to freely conduct simulations to select the car and colors that fit their image.
After the color choices have been made, the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Auto dealers nearest to the customer, who respectively handle the RAV4 L and RAV4 J models, will take care of sales and contract discussions.
