TMME's Toyota Accessory & Service Centre Opened

Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that its European subsidiary, N.V. Toyota Motor Europe Marketing & Engineering S.A. (TMME), held the inauguration ceremony for its recently completed Toyota Accessory & Service Centre (TASC) in Brussels, Belgium.

Among the 90 guests attending were TMME Chairman and TMC Senior Managing Director Kenichi Kato, TMME Managing Director Tatsuo Takahashi, TMC Director Tokuo Ogawa, and representatives from European distributors and business partners.

Established in 1990, TMME imports and exports vehicles and parts, plans automobile marketing, and provides assistance and guidance to European distributors and technical support to suppliers. TMME has the most up-to-date facilities, including the Europe Technical Centre for vehicle evaluation, the Europe Design Centre (EPOC), and the Toyota Parts Centre Europe, for managing centralized parts stock control.

TASC adjoins TMME's headquarters building, which was completed in April last year. TMME will use TASC facilities to further expand its activities; to strengthen R&D in European-made accessories, spare parts, and conversion vehicles; and to increase technical assistance and guidance to distributors for servicing.
