Toyota and Hino Begin Mutual Supply of
Truck Models in Thailand
TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (head office: Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture; president: Hiroshi Okuda) and HINO MOTORS, LTD. (head office: Hino City, Tokyo; president: Hiroshi Yuasa) today announced that they have begun the mutual supply of truck models in Thailand.
The aim of this action is to strengthen the model lineups and better utilize the sales forces of both companies, in order to maximize sales volume under current market conditions and prepare for future growth of the Thai truck market.
In Japan, Toyota, Hino, and Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. have been supplying each other with truck models since 1995, making this mutual supply of trucks in Thailand the first overseas extension of the existing cooperative relationship between Toyota and Hino.
Below is an outline of the agreement related to supplying trucks in Thailand.
