Toyota to Establish Representative Office in
Valenciennes, France
Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that it has established a representative office in Valenciennes, Nord Prefecture of France. TMC has been preparing since December 1997 to start production in early 2001 at its second European automobile manufacturing plant to be constructed in the Onnaing business park in Valenciennes.
It will be TMC's operation base for setting up its second European automobile plant.
