TOYOTA ANNOUNCES 1977 PRODUCTION, DOMESTIC
REGISTRATIONS AND EXPORT RESULTS

Toyota Motor Company announced today that the Company's total motor vehicle production for 1977 was 2,720,758 units, up 9.4% from 1976. Domestic registrations of new Toyota vehicles for 1977 totaled 1,303,299 units, a 0.2% drop compared with 1976. Total exports in 1977 were 1,413,235 units, up 20% from 1976.
