TOYOTA DELIVERS FIRST OF 10 EXPERIMENTAL SAFETY VEHICLES
TO JAPANESE GOVERNMENT

Toyota Motor Company on September 6th delivered the first of 10 highly advanced Experimental Safety Vehicles (ESV's) to the Japanese Government, with the remainder of the secondary prototypes to be completed for delivery by the end of November. The vehicles were developed by the company as part of the Government's comprehensive ESV program.
