Toyota Markets U.S.-Built Avalon in Japan

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced that, starting from today, it will market the U.S.-built Avalon, a new luxury passenger car, through its Toyopet dealers nationwide. The Avalon was largely designed and engineered by Toyota Technical Center, U.S.A., Inc., in cooperation with TMC. The car is manufactured by Toyota Motor Manufacturing, U.S.A., Inc. in Georgetown, Kentucky and exported from the U.S. by Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. (TMS).
