Toyota Increases Ownership of Daihatsu

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that it has bought an additional 71.15 million shares in Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (Daihatsu). Toyota has had a business tie-up with Daihatsu since 1967.
