Toyota to Establish New Company for Supervising
North American Manufacturing Operations

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that it will establish Toyota Motor Manufacturing, North America, Inc. (TMM NA) in Northern Kentucky, U.S.A. The new company will consolidate manufacturing-related support functions currently carried out by a number of Toyota's North American manufacturing and administrative entities, as well as some functions handled in Japan. By consolidating these activities, TMM NA will accelerate the decision-making process and increase operational efficiency.
