Toyota Hits Global Production High in 1^st Half

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) today announced the results for the first half of the business year starting April 1, 2000, for TMC and subsidiary Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., revealing total year-on-year increases across the board and setting all-time records on both a combined and independent basis.
