TMUK Achieves 80% European Content Target

TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today that Toyota Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd. (TMUK) has achieved its 80% European content target six months ahead of schedule. The company also announced an increase in the range of Carina E models produced at its Burnaston Plant. From the middle of next year, the Carina E Wagon, which is currently produced in Japan, will be built in the U.K. This means that all Carina E body types will now be made in the U.K.
