Announcing the Passing of Former TMC President Tatsuro Toyoda

Toyota City, Japan, January 6, 2018―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces the passing of former TMC President Tatsuro Toyoda, who died of pneumonia at the age of 88 on December 30, 2017.

A private vigil and funeral has been held by close relatives, with Mr. Toyoda's surviving wife, Ms. Ayako Toyoda, representing the family.

TMC plans to hold a farewell gathering for Mr. Toyoda at a later date.
