Toyota Launches Global Newsroom
Diverse Content
With priority given to speed and ease-of-use, a compact and unobtrusive newsfeed sidebar allows users to stay up-to-date on recent developments. Not just for corporate news, the newsroom will cover diverse fields, including social contribution activities, safety technology and vehicle information. Photos and videos are provided license-free for personal and editorial use.
Registering an account with the newsroom will subscribe users to an automated email alert system to ensure that they are informed of the latest Toyota news and developments in a timely way. Also, registered users will not be prompted for a download agreement for each image or video download.
Modern, Tile-based Format
The newsroom adopts a simple, intuitive modern tile-based format emphasizing the fluid nature of today’s fast-paced news environment. Tiles can be easily filtered into corporate, Toyota-brand and Lexus-brand categories and further categorized into news, images and video tiles.
Designed from the ground up to be compatible with a wide variety of resolutions from Full HD monitors to smartphones, the newsroom automatically scales its interface to maximize effective use of screen space, regardless of size.
As Toyota’s global headquarters, TMC recognizes the need for an arena to collect and organize the multitude of local and regional Toyota-related developments that occur every day in every corner of the world. Through the Toyota Global Newsroom, TMC hopes to contribute to the understanding of global Toyota operations.
