Four TMC Employees Win Gold at 41st World Skills Competition in London
Toyota Thailand Employee Also Wins Gold
Toyota City, Japan, October 12, 2011―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces that four TMC employees-representatives of Japan at the 41st World Skills Competition* held in London, England―each won gold medals in their respective fields. This is the first time TMC has won four gold medals in one World Skills competition.
In the medal tally, Japan, with 11 gold medals, came in second to Korea. The four gold medals won by TMC employees represents the most ever accrued by one company at the competition.

Also at this years' competition, Tanongsak Hengsawad, from Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. (TMT), TMC's sales and production company in Thailand, won a gold medal in the Creative Modelling category, representing the first time an employee of a Toyota affiliate has won a gold medal.
