Domestic Sales Continue to Increase in April

 

Tokyo―TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) today announced the production, domestic sales and export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd. for April 2003.

  • First increase in four months due to increased exports mainly to Europe and the Middle East

  • Fifteenth consecutive month of increase due to increased exports mainly to Asia, Oceania and North America

  • First increase in three months

OVERSEAS PRODUCTION

  • Sixteenth consecutive month of increase due to increased production in almost all regions. This also marks the highest to date.

  • First decrease in four months due to decreased production mainly in Indonesia
