TMC Announces Executive and Organizational Changes
Toyota City, Japan, June 17, 2011―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces executive, corporate-auditor and organizational changes today, as outlined below.

4. Organizational Changes
1) IT
The IT & ITS Group and the Information Systems Group were integrated to form the IT Group, and the Information Systems Field was created within the IT Group.

Purpose The IT & ITS Group and the Information Systems Group were merged to support globally integrated IT strategies and the development of systems. Also, the Information Systems Field was created to carry out efficient IT investment globally and support the development of information systems based on rapid decision making that is closely linked to work sites. |
2) Research & Development
Individual centers within the Product Development Group were eliminated. The Product Development Group changed its name to the Product Planning Group, and the Product Development Management Division in the group was restructured as the Product Planning Division.
