Toyota Announces Results for June 2007 and the January to June Period, 2007

 

Tokyo ― TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) announced today the production, sales in Japan and export results of TMC and subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for June 2007 and the January to June period, 2007.

  • The number of minivehicles sold in June 2007 was 56,000 (a 0.8% increase from June 2006), eighth consecutive month of increase and a record high for the month of June
  • 33.1% share of the minivehicle market (a 2.3% increase from June 2006) and a record high for the month of June
Hino
  • Decrease
  • The number of standard trucks sold was 2,400 (a 18.6% decrease from June 2006)
  • 30.1% share of the truck market (a 1.1% increase from June 2006)
    (for trucks with maximum loading capacity of more than four tons; excluding imported trucks)
