TMC Announces Results for October 2010

 

Toyota City, Japan, November 26, 2010―Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) announces its production, domestic sales and export results, including those for subsidiaries Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. and Hino Motors, Ltd., for October 2010.

  • Minivehicle sales totaled approximately 40,200 units (18.7% decrease); first decrease in ten months
  • 36.2% share of minivehicle market (1.1% decrease); first decrease in three months

Hino
  • Decrease
  • Standard-truck sales totaled approximately 800 (12.5% decrease)
  • 28.8% share of the truck* market (1.3% increase)

Toyota + Daihatsu + Hino
  • Decrease
  • 47.86% share of market including minivehicles (0.03% increase); first increase in three months and record high for a single month
