Toyota Choreography Award Winner to Hold Public Performances in Kanazawa and Tokyo
Toyota City, Japan, December 20, 2013―Toyota Motor Corporation and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa will sponsor Kaori Seki, winner of the 2012 Toyota Next-generation Choreography Award, to create and perform Qurevelum, an original work, in Kanazawa between February 10 and 23, 2014. The new work will then be performed from March 14 through 16 at Theatre Tram in Tokyo.
The Toyota Choreography Award was launched by Toyota in 2001 with the Setagaya Public Theatre. As part of Toyota's ongoing social contribution activities in support of art and culture, the program aims to discover and nurture up-and-coming choreographers.
