Handling of Personal Information

In operating THE MOVEUM YOKOHAMA by Toyota Group ("the Facility") sponsored by Toyota Motor Corporation ("the Company"), the Company, together with its contractors, will appropriately handle the personal information of visitors to the Facility or those who have made inquiries in accordance with the below purposes.

• 1.  Scope of this Policy

  This policy is intended for general attendees who visit the facility and for those who inquire about the facility.  

• 2.  Personal Information to be Gathered

  The following personal information will be collected at this facility:

  • ・Video recordings from surveillance cameras installed in the facility
  • ・Information such as name, address, contact information, etc.  provided at the time of inquiry
  • ・Name, address, contact information, identification information, and so forth to be provided in response to the return of found property.
  • ・Information on the person finding the lost property (name, address, contact information, identification information, etc.)

• 3.  Purpose of Use of Personal Information

  Personal information obtained will be used for the following purposes:

  • ・Safety management and operation of events (Improve operations based on analysis of video evidence (provided to local police and fire departments) and surveillance camera footage (to understand congestion) in the event of any issues)
  • ・To respond to inquiries (in order to answer questions and requests)
  • ・Return of found objects (identification of owner and identification regarding return)
  • ・Provide information on found objects to the police

• 4.  Management and Storage

  We will take the necessary and appropriate security control measures to prevent leak or disclosure of personal information.  Any collected personal information will be promptly deleted or properly disposed of after the purpose of use is achieved.

• 5.  Provision of Information to Third Parties

  We will not provide any personal information we collect to any third party without the consent of the individual, except as required by law.
  In the event of a sudden illness, injury, or other emergency, necessary information may be provided to medical institutions and other relevant parties only in life-threatening situations.

• 6.  Language

  This policy is provided in Japanese and English only.  Translated versions in other languages are not available.
