Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) announces the renewal of its Global Newsroom, a website that allows visitors to view Toyota news, photos, videos, and more.

This renewal, the first in about three years, demonstrates the website's all-new design. Building further on the original concept of the website as an "information news site" with a focus on images, we have made improvements that allow customers to navigate and access information with ease.

In addition to traditional news releases, we also plan to expand the offering of contents that introduce Toyota's ideas and thinking through video and innovative story-telling formats.

We aim to continue to provide the most relevant, current information via Toyota's Global Newsroom and would like to further deepen communication with our customers. Thank you for your continued support.

There is no change to the URL with this renewal. Visitors can continue using saved bookmarks and browser favorites.

What's New

Rethinking the Search Function

News stories are categorized and displayed on the home page under a variety of categories including "Company," "Financial Results," and "Models" to allow for quick access to the news and information you are looking for. Also, we have improved the search function to make it easier to find the information you need whether it may be recent news or past news.

Rethinking the Search Function

Boosting Ease of Use

A two-column layout has been adopted. This allows for images to be displayed and downloaded alongside text without having to scroll all the way to the bottom. The Toyota Global Newsroom has been renewed, whereby its usability has increased through the provision of a menu bar that is easy to understand at first glance, as well as the addition of album functions.

Redesigning the Appearance

In order to properly display the information you need, we increased the width of the website visuals and increased the font size and line spacing of the website. The design has also been updated to make it easier to view on smartphones, as well as on PCs.
