I aimed for a styling that was "cool" at first glance, with an aura of prestige that conveyed a mature sense of serenity. This new Crown is truly appealing with its flowing proportions and solid yet sensual surfaces. I hope that you'll fall in love with this car by experiencing its ambiance!

I wanted to create a flowing and high-quality rear end design with a dignified appearance worthy of a flagship car. I hope that many customers find the redesigned Crown Sedan attractive.

I aimed for a styling that would proudly carry on the "CROWN" name, an iconic Japanese sedan that has inherited a 16-generation legacy.
Inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship, the details are modern and exquisitely executed. I believe that it is a car that will be cherished by RWD sedan enthusiasts.

I imagined myself driving a car around town that I personally sculpted. It was with that hope I tackled my mission as a clay modeler. Making an attractive car is what motivated me, and I devoted myself to the process. It was a wish come true being involved in the design of the Crown, so I was very happy. As a craftsman, I would be delighted if customers consider it to be "cool looking"!
Makoto Wakihara
The entire team meticulously worked on the finest details in order to express a simple yet luxurious shape through digital modeling. We hope you will enjoy the new Crown and sense our dedication and commitment when you experience it firsthand.

What should the "new formal" proposed by the Crown Sedan be like? We imagined a situation of picking up a partner or important guests, and with the "spirit of hospitality," we, as a team, carefully created a high-quality, chic interior through trial and error. Please also experience the indirect lighting that creates a relaxing moving space at night!

We created this car considering what would be an appropriate design as a flagship model of the Crown series. The car has a formal look, and we were very particular about its appearance, cross-section, and shape, to create a comfortable space for the occupants seated inside. We would like you to actually ride, touch, as well as experience the relaxed feeling of its interior lighting!
Satoshi Suzuki
In order to realize the soft lighting expressed in the sketches and the atmosphere it conveys, we digitally evaluated the cross-sections, checked materials on the actual model, and adjusted the gloss repeatedly until the very end. I would be happy if you enjoy the atmosphere that is designed to make each passenger feel unique and special.

I was fortunate to work on this Crown after last overseeing minor changes for the 14th-generation model. I was very particular about the texture and color tone of the mid-brown interior color and wood ornaments until the very end. I hope you will enjoy the redesigned, modernized Crown!

Aiming for the pinnacle of premium wheels, we have achieved functional beauty through the aerodynamic effect of the turbine-shaped spokes with a design that reflects a sparkling, rotating light when the wheels begin to move.
